By registering for Community Days, you’re becoming part of our largest volunteer event of the year. Together with colleagues across the U.S. and Canada, we’ll make a difference for cancer patients in our communities.
By volunteering at Community Days, you’re helping patients in two important ways:
- Gift of a Care Package – Small gestures bring hope to people with cancer. That’s why you’ll create care packages that reach patients through Giving Comfort, our McKesson Foundation program.
- Gift of Services – When you sign up, the McKesson Foundation gives $10 to Nemours Children's Specialty Care - Jacksonville, our local Cancer Care Community Partner. The Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is a pediatric oncology and hematology program with four core locations, all part of the Children’s Oncology Group. Nemours’ teams collaborate to improve outcomes, reduce side effects and provide leading therapies. Nemours seeks funding for pediatric specialty care, research, education, prevention and advocacy.
When you sign up, you also support the team challenge for more grants to cancer nonprofits.
